“I started out DJing and bought some lasers to make my sets better,” he says.
“Then I realized lasers are a lot more fun than DJing.”
That realization sparked a full-blown career in live laser production—and he hasn’t looked back since.

Vahn’s favorite moments reflect both independence and collaboration.
He created and ran his own stage at Sonic Bloom, a local Colorado festival that celebrates music and creativity.
And he’s teamed up with some of the best—helping UV99 Lasers at Coachella on the iconic Do LaB stage.

What Matters Most During a Show
When it comes to responsibility, Vahn keeps it clear.
“The biggest responsibility for any laser operator is making sure the crowd and artist are safe during shows!” he says.
That means being precise, alert, and ready to adjust—because safety isn’t just technical, it’s personal.
