When ECOS reached The Kia Forum on September 12, generations of fans came together for a night built around songs that have remained part of Latin rock culture for decades.
But ECOS isn’t simply about looking back.
The music may carry the memories, but the production brings them into the present. Inside the Forum, powerful visuals surrounded the performance, giving familiar songs an entirely new setting.
ECOS Finds Its Rhythm in Los Angeles
Once the show got moving, the arena began to change with it.
Twelve 40-watt KVANT lasers stretched across the venue, creating sweeping looks that shifted with the mood of the music.
Some moments called for something big. Others gave the songs room to breathe.
Meanwhile, the audience brought an energy of its own, turning the Los Angeles stop into much more than another date on the schedule.
Behind the Beams
Laser technicians Michael Moore and JP Alves handled the laser production for the evening.
Timing mattered. So did knowing when to let the music lead.
Then, when the right moment arrived, the beams could open across the Forum and completely transform the view.
Past Meets Present
That mix of old and new is part of what makes ECOS different.
Soda Stereo’s music carries years of history with it. However, this production gives audiences a new way to experience those songs on an arena scale.
For Los Angeles, that meant an evening where nostalgia didn’t stay in the past.
It stepped right back onto the stage.
