San Jose. Los Angeles. Las Vegas. Now, New York. By September 17th, Soda Stereo’s ECOS Tour had already covered plenty of ground. bringing in a change of scenery as the production rolled into UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
And was ready for its turn!
A Crowd That Came for Soda Stereo
There’s no need to introduce Soda Stereo to this audience.
The songs already have history. Fans already have favorites. Some have been listening for decades, while others discovered the music much later.
That made the night less about introducing ECOS and more about seeing how people responded to it.
The answer could be heard throughout the arena.
Twelve Lasers Join the Set
This time around, 12 40-watt KVANT lasers were part of the production, with Michael Moore and JP Alves behind the laser work.
Rather than giving the lasers their own spotlight, they became part of the bigger picture.
Colors shifted. Then the attention returned to the stage.
That back-and-forth kept the room changing without making every moment feel the same.
New York Checked Off the Map
After several West Coast dates, arriving in New York gave this stretch of ECOS a noticeable change of pace.
Another arena was checked off. Another crowd had experienced the show.
And there was still one more destination ahead.
Miami was next.
