No Tricks, Just Lasers! Freaky Deaky Takes Over Texas!

Halloween weekend got a little brighter in Austin, Texas! 🎃⚡

On October 30–31, 2026, Freaky Deaky Festival took over the Travis County Exposition Center for two days of electronic music and Halloween festivities.

Produced by DISCO PRESENTS, the event featured an impressive laser production across three stages. With 28 KVANT laser projectors in action, there was plenty happening beyond the music.

Three Stages, Plenty of Laser Power

Each stage at Freaky Deaky had its own laser setup.

The Main Stage featured 12 KVANT 42W lasers, providing the highest-powered equipment of the weekend.

Meanwhile, Stage Two was equipped with 8 KVANT 24W lasers, while Stage Three featured 8 KVANT 10W lasers.

This arrangement allowed each performance area to incorporate laser visuals suited to its production.

Meet the Technicians Behind the Beams

Of course, a multi-stage festival requires a team that knows how to work together.

Laser technicians Mitchell Blakemore, Doug Martin, Robbie Mueller, Bennett Bruen, and Sierra Smith were part of the production crew.

From equipment preparation to show operation, their work supported the laser presentations throughout the event. And with several stages running, coordination was an important part of the job.

A Halloween Weekend Made for Electronic Music

Freaky Deaky brought its signature Halloween atmosphere to Austin once again.

Festivalgoers gathered for a weekend of electronic music, costumes, and entertainment. Plus, with Halloween falling on the second day, the celebration had an extra festive feel.

The laser visuals complemented the performances, fitting right into the festival’s energetic setting.

That’s a Wrap on Freaky Deaky 2026!

Freaky Deaky brought together a talented production crew and a weekend of Halloween entertainment at the Travis County Exposition Center.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making the event happen!
