San Jose had the first look at what Soda Stereo was bringing to the U.S.
On September 10, 2026, the legendary Argentine rock band arrived at SAP Center to kick off the U.S. leg of its ECOS Tour. It was the beginning of a new run of arena shows—and the laser production was ready to match the scale of the moment.
ECOS Makes Its U.S. Entrance
For generations of fans, Soda Stereo’s music carries plenty of history. ECOS brings that legacy into a new live experience, using technology and large-scale production to create something designed for today’s stage.
In San Jose, 12 40-watt KVANT lasers became part of that visual world.
Beams stretched above the crowd, shifted with the performance, and gave the arena a completely different look as the music moved from one moment to the next.
Behind the laser production were Michael Moore and JP Alves, taking on the opening night of the U.S. run.
One Arena Was Only the Beginning
The San Jose performance wasn’t simply another stop on the calendar. It opened the door to what comes next.
From California, ECOS continues on to more major stages as Soda Stereo carries the production across the country.
New cities will bring new crowds and different surroundings, but San Jose will always hold one distinction:
