On September 19, 2026, the black-tie charity gala returned to Hilton Orlando, bringing statement fashion, theatrical entertainment, and imaginative headwear into one room.
The evening benefited Hope & Help of Central Florida, giving guests an opportunity to celebrate while supporting an organization making a difference throughout the region.
Not Your Average Black-Tie Affair
The 2026 theme, “Metamorphosis: The Power of Expression,” gave guests plenty of room to get creative.
Elaborate headdresses shared the room with fascinators, gowns, tuxedos, and looks designed to turn heads. Everywhere you looked, someone had interpreted the theme in their own way.
Of course, the creativity didn’t stop with the guests.
Singers, dancers, aerialists, acrobats, and other entertainers kept attention moving around the room. One act could feel elegant and dramatic. Then, the next could bring something completely unexpected.
A Little Laser Magic Joins the Party
With so much personality already in the ballroom, the laser production had an interesting role to play.
Four 10-watt lasers introduced bursts of color, sweeping effects, and changing patterns throughout the entertainment.
Behind the controls, Curtis Pacific used live busking to follow the action in real time. This gave him the freedom to change the visuals with each act instead of treating every performance the same.
The result fit an evening built around individuality.
A Celebration with Purpose
Beyond the fashion and entertainment, the Headdress Gala supported an important mission.
Proceeds benefited Hope & Help, which provides HIV and STI prevention, testing, treatment, and healthcare services in Central Florida.
That purpose has been part of the gala’s identity for years. So, while guests had every reason to enjoy themselves, their participation also helped support work happening within the local community.
A Night That Wasn’t Afraid to Stand Out
There was nothing ordinary about this black-tie affair.
Guests arrived ready to make an entrance. Performers brought surprises throughout the evening. And when it was time for the visuals to join in, the ballroom found another way to show off its personality.
For a gala centered on the power of expression, being a little different was exactly the point.
