On April 18th, 2026, Reggae Rise Up made its stop in Tempe Arizona at the scenic Tempe Beach Park. With the water nearby and the crowd gathered, the setting created the perfect backdrop for a full day of music and atmosphere.
As the sun started to dip, the energy shifted. Then, when Slightly Stoopid took the stage, the crowd locked in and the night came alive.
A Performance That Carried the Crowd
Right away, the sound set the tone. Smooth rhythms. Steady grooves. And a vibe that moved through the entire park.
Instead of rushing, the set flowed naturally. Each track built on the last. And as the performance continued, the connection between the band and the audience only grew stronger.
Lasers That Opened the Sky
To match the atmosphere, the production featured a layered laser setup:
- 6 × 40-watt KVANT Clubmax lasers
- 8 × 6-watt KVANT Clubmax lasers with PASS
With the open-air setting, the beams had space to stretch. Some moments filled the sky with wide, sweeping effects. Others stayed closer to the stage, adding depth and movement.
Because of that balance, the visuals felt intentional. They supported the music without overwhelming it.
Dialed-In Execution
Handling the laser system were Mitchell Blakemore and Patrick R. Tolloti. Throughout the night, they kept everything running smoothly and in sync.
The timing stayed tight. The output stayed consistent. And every visual moment landed where it needed to.
A Perfect Blend of Music and Setting
As the night continued, the combination of live music, outdoor space, and thoughtful production created something memorable. The crowd stayed engaged. The energy remained steady. And the experience felt complete.
At Tempe Beach Park, Reggae Rise Up delivered exactly what it’s known for — good music, good energy, and a setting that brings it all together
