On March 16th-18th, the IGNITE Insurance Conference in Dallas kicked off with a bold and energetic opener at the Hilton Anatole. Right from the start, the name “IGNITE” set the tone — and the production delivered on it.
Instead of a traditional introduction, the event launched with an EDM Superhero Origin-themed experience. The goal was clear. Capture attention. Build energy. And spark the audience from the very first moment.
An Opener Designed to Ignite the Room
As the music began, the visuals followed. The production featured eight 10-watt KVANT lasers, creating sharp beams and dynamic movement across the space.
First, the lasers introduced the scene with controlled patterns. Then, as the music built, the intensity increased. Each cue hit with purpose. Each moment added to the story.
The result felt immersive and cinematic — a true “origin story” that aligned perfectly with the IGNITE brand.
Balancing Energy with Professionalism
While the visuals brought excitement, they also stayed intentional. The lasers didn’t overwhelm the space. Instead, they supported the theme and elevated the atmosphere.
This balance allowed the opener to feel both engaging and appropriate for a corporate setting.
Precision Behind the Production
Jacob Kuhl served as the Laser Technician for the event. From setup to execution, he ensured the system ran smoothly and safely.
Careful alignment and timing made the difference. Because of that, every visual cue stayed clean, sharp, and in sync with the music.
Setting the Tone for IGNITE
First impressions matter. And this opener did exactly what it was meant to do — it ignited the room.
By combining a strong concept with precise execution, the conference began with energy, focus, and impact.
A powerful start. And the perfect way to set the stage for everything that followed.
