Brooklyn EDM Weekend Features Armin van Buuren, Boris, and Mahmut Orhan!

For three straight nights, Industry City transformed into a massive electronic music destination in the heart of Brooklyn. From May 15th through May 17th, fans packed the venue for performances from Mahmut Orhan, Armin van Buuren, and Boris.

As each night unfolded, the atmosphere shifted in its own way. Some moments felt deep and melodic. Others brought high energy and nonstop movement across the crowd.

A Weekend Built Around Sound and Atmosphere

Mahmut Orhan opened the weekend with smooth electronic rhythms and a laid-back energy that carried throughout the venue. Then, the momentum lifted on May 16th as Armin van Buuren brought a larger festival-style feel to the night.

Finally, Boris closed out the weekend with a darker, driving sound that kept the crowd moving late into the evening.

Because each artist brought a different style, the experience stayed fresh from one night to the next.

Visuals That Filled the Venue

Supporting the performances was a large laser setup featuring:

  • 6 × 40-watt KVANT lasers

Throughout the weekend, aerial beams stretched across the venue and above the crowd, adding movement and visual depth to the experience. At times, the lasers created wide sweeping effects throughout the space. Then, during heavier moments in the music, the visuals tightened and intensified around the stage.

That variation helped shape the energy of each performance while keeping the atmosphere immersive.

Behind the Production

Handling the laser system from Dynamic Lasers was Shane Martz, who managed the visuals across all three nights.

Everything stayed clean and synchronized throughout the weekend. Transitions flowed naturally. Cues matched the pacing of the music. And the visuals continued to support the atmosphere from beginning to end.

Three Nights That Kept the Energy Going

As the final night came to a close, the combination of electronic music, immersive production, and the industrial setting of Industry City created an experience that stood out across the Brooklyn nightlife scene.

In the end, the weekend delivered exactly what electronic music fans came for — powerful performances, immersive visuals, and an atmosphere that kept building night after night.
