On April 24th, 2026, the CFY Banquet on the Beach took place at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach. Sponsored by Duke Energy, the evening brought together community, support, and a shared purpose.

Right away, the setting stood out. Ocean views. A relaxed atmosphere. And a crowd gathered for something meaningful.

Supporting a Greater Cause

The event focused on giving back. Proceeds supported CFY Pinellas, an organization dedicated to empowering local youth through athletics, education, and water safety.

Because of that, every part of the evening carried purpose. Every moment contributed to something bigger.

Notable Guests and Community Leaders

The event welcomed a wide range of notable guests and local leaders. Their presence reflected the strong community behind the mission.

Among them were Brooke Bennett, Joe Maddon, Brandy Halladay, Tino Martinez, Noah Lyons, Rebecca Minkoff, and Michele Smith. In addition, Nick Hogan made an appearance, adding to the evening’s engagement.

Local leadership was also well represented. Bruce Rector, George Cretekos, and Frank Hibbard were in attendance, alongside Kevin Dunbar, Fred Miller, and Mr. Fisher, the founder of CFY.

Media coverage included Russell Rhodes and Charley Belcher, helping highlight the importance of the event.

Community Involvement and Participation

Beyond the headliners, the event showcased strong local support. Contributors and participants included Al Capogna, Ciara Lee, and the Barris Family. Youth organizations such as the Clearwater Lady Bombers Softball team and Seminole Seahawks Cheerleaders were also part of the evening.

Additionally, Copperheads Charities, represented by Tracy West, helped reinforce the community-driven nature of the event.

An Evening Full of Experiences

As the night began, guests enjoyed a variety of activities. First, the live and silent auctions created excitement throughout the room. Then, the raffle added another layer of engagement.

At the same time, guests experienced culinary creations by celebrity executive chef Will Artley. Each dish added to the overall experience and kept the evening flowing.

A Visual Finish by the Water

As the event continued, the night transitioned into a visual highlight. A laser show followed, adding a unique ending to the evening.

From the rooftop, four 30-watt lasers projected beams out over the crowd and toward the water. The open space allowed the visuals to stretch and move naturally.

First, the beams filled the sky. Then, they reflected across the water, creating a memorable look.
