On the evening of December 2, 2025, the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs transformed into a glowing beacon of generosity as part of Colorado Gives Day 2025. This annual statewide movement empowers individuals to support local nonprofits through one of the largest 24-hour giving initiatives in the U.S.
A Laser Show with Meaning
Furthermore, Laser Light Company was proud to help bring the visuals to life.
For this event, our team used:
- 2 Kvant 24-watt projectors for bold, wide-reaching beams
- 2 Kvant 10-watt projectors for smooth animations and detailed graphics
- 2 Kvant 3-watt projectors for text and close-up visuals
With that, each projector played a part in creating an unforgettable experience.
Colorful beams filled the sky. Messages of thanks and impact lit up the night. The energy was real—and the crowd felt it.
So What’s Colorado Gives Day All About?
This special day is more than a fundraiser.
It’s a statewide giving movement, led by the Colorado Gives Foundation, with help from Community First Foundation and sponsors like FirstBank.
Here’s what makes it powerful:
- It supports over 4,600 local nonprofits
- It includes more than $1 million in donation incentives and cash prizes
- It brings people together to celebrate the causes that matter most
And they have been going for 16 years strong!
Bringing the Message to Light
However, the Lasers weren’t just for looks.
They helped tell the story—of hope, giving, and the real difference people can make. From bold sky patterns to thoughtful graphic messages, the entire show was designed to reflect the heart of the event.
This was about showing appreciation. About shining a light—literally—on the nonprofits that serve our communities every day.
