On November 4, 2025, FNTECH hosted a Conference, Polychain Investor Day at The Midway in San Francisco, CA. Known for its industrial style and flexible event layout, The Midway offers the perfect environment for a tech-forward gathering with layered visual design.
Gallery Corridor Gets a Makeover
Inside the long gallery hallway, we’re installing four of our Kvant Club Max FB4 3‑watt projectors. These compact systems deliver high‑quality beams that fit tight spaces. The lighting scheme will use three main colors: teal, violet, and pink (rose). Specifically chosen tones set to match alongside the venue artwork and the event’s signature Versatube installations. As attendees move through the hallway, the lasers will provide engaging visual transitions, that “evolve as a tapestry.”
The laser design doesn’t try to steal the spotlight. Instead, it adds motion and depth to a functional space. Shifting it into something more atmospheric. As you stroll through, an experience of subtle lighting cues transitions yourself from social areas into the heart of the event. This deliberate use of lighting helps with both pacing and mood—two often-overlooked aspects of event design.
What makes this hallway design effective is its simplicity. The lasers are quiet, consistent, and aligned with the event’s branding and energy. They serve a real purpose, visually and practically. Providing support movement, reinforce direction, and highlight architecture—without adding noise or distraction.
The laser setup for Polychain Investor Day isn’t just a design choice—it’s a tool for guiding guests, connecting spaces, and elevating the atmosphere. By working with the venue’s structure and visual theme, the design team created a hallway that feels intentional from the first step in. It’s a smart example of how thoughtful lighting design can quietly improve the experience—without ever having to say a word.
